Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Market Recap: February 2025

Last month’s home sales in Kitchener-Waterloo decreased by 26.1% compared to February 2024.

“While February’s home sales were affected by concerns over tariffs and their potential impact on employment, the market showed some encouraging signs. We saw a steady increase in new listings while prices remained stable.”

The average sale price of all residential properties sold in February was $767,800, an increase of 1.3% from February 2024.

Average Home Price:

  • $900,003 Detached Home
  • $613,924 Townhome
  • $437,000 Apartment-Style Condominium
  • $670,352 Semi

In February, it took an average of 24 days to sell a home, similar to 24 days in February 2024.
