Kitchener – Waterloo Real Estate Market Recap: June 2021

Last month home sales in Kitchener-Waterloo were up 10.1% compared to June 2020.

June Sales Breakdown:

  • 411 Detached Home Sales
  • 103 Condominium Sales
  • 74 Semi-Detached Home Sales
  • 152 Freehold Townhouse Sales

The average sale price of all residential properties sold in June is up by 26.4% to $759,115 compared to June 2020.

Average Home Price:

  • $919,914 Detached Homes
  • $445,493 Apartment-Style Condominiums
  • $590,980 Townhomes
  • $647,918 Semis

It took an average of 11 days to sell a home in June, compared to 17 days in June 2020. 365 homes were available for sale at the end of June, a decrease of 43% compared to June of last year.
